Welcome to the observatory, my friend! We will be observing... YOU! Just kidding. We will be observing ME..! Bwahahahahahahahahahaha. This website is still a work in progress but stay tuned!

To start us off, here's my self-proclaimed charmingly novice youtube account, it's for music, but with a lack of effort in its presentation, yet paired with genuine passion and the audacity to share my music anyways- the kind of thing that you've secretly been looking for, perhaps :")

Here's a fun little sample! Maybe you could leave it to play whilst going through my page! I will say though, the first song takes a bit of patience before it comes together... it also is a bit quiet towards the end whoops. The third song is an instrumental I made which is more of what I usually upload to my youtube channel.

And now... 2 poems about DEATH. And then one about tea.

I will also randomly throw in some science facts for after you've read the poems!

The lone survivor of death

Death, a neutral abyss, is void of life

It finds final breath but does not destroy,

In patience and anticipation we breathe,

In and then out, until the last time that we

Have a chance to wonder if it's our last breath- but have no fear...!

Like my grandmother, wise beyond her elderly years.

She taught me her ways, to not put up a fight,

With reality, with clarity, and graceful peace of mind.

And so, she knows she'll bow out with that grace on her last day,

A day I may never be ready for, and that I must say.

But for my own last day, I'll follow her lead,

I'll gracefully age, until the day my life leaves-

In neutrality, grounded in reality and same peace of mind,

And if I should leave early, then for those left behind,

I hope they just pause for a moment, and carry on with their lives

Know we were happy together before my final goodbye.

And dying, though the last chapter, of a book that can't be reread

I know it's just part of life, to meet your life's end.

But you'll always be a part of the universe's story, even when gone, my friend..

A story that lives on forever and ever- the lone survivor of death.

The flower with missing petals

 I stand incomplete; a relic of what I once was,

Some petals were lost to the ground,

Carried far, far away from me

Carried through other people's stories,

Caught in some of their eyes for just a moment-

Before crumpling in the wind and returning to the earth and out of my reach.

Yet all that I still am is mine for the time being;

All I still am was born of experience and growth of my past,

And though I can no longer grow and build onto myself,

I feel a change, and know that I will reach a new form, even through decay,

As of present, I am not even half of what I once was and yet,

I have even had a person capture my current essence and consider it beautiful..

Perhaps because, even approaching my death, I remain vivid and strong in what is left of me,

and in contrast to the world around me

So, with pieces of me no longer attached to my being, and perhaps even dead long ago,

I know the time will come where all the pieces move on from me, the core the last to go-

Perhaps they will no longer be part of 'me' but returned to the bigger picture of Earth,

Not a fragment that claimed a place in my being; claiming a vessel..

Within the cosmos no longer-

But one with it.

Yulan tea

 Shining golden, in the light,

A river for the little flower.

It's vibrant beauty shines,

Leaves like roots under the surface.

Yet visible to the eye,

The place from which the flower grew

A sip of this, it tastes like bliss!

The beauty I see,

Found simply in tea. 

Here's a random unrelated scientific phenomenon that you can experiment with, with this cool trick I accidentally discovered! In the dark, try turning your brightness high on your phone, turning on selfie mode and then pointing your camera at the wall, close to it. You should see a rainbow of colours on the wall coming from your phone, changing one by one! Pretty cool, right..?

And now, let me share some silly sayings I have come up with haha!:

  • My granary in rye/my friend in antichrist (as opposed to my brother in christ)
  • Eat cheese, get yippees; eat peas get whoopees
  • You snooze you lose your hoose
  • If you took any longer, the clock would strike you!

I also have some serious thoughts to share, which might make you feel a bit better if you feel worried about being too much in society, or if you feel alone or lost:

  • I can't help but think of those who really have/had nobody, who dropped out of education early, who feel they are chained to their painful pasts even to this day- if that's you, know you exist just as everyone exists, and one day you'll be willing to reclaim the space that you should have taken up in this world
  • First and foremost I am a living, breathing person and I believe that is true for all people
  • The most radical thing you can do is be happy truly, and spread that joy in the harshest of circumstances. The first step of that is to be a genuinely curious person and to try to see each person as their own person of whom has the potential to extend kindness and respect onto you
  • You are worthy of love exactly as you are. I mean, of course you should grow as a person- but at each step you are a person worthy of love.

Random short story I wrote ages ago:

  PART 1
The man with no name, watches from afar; he watches the house on the hill from the dark underside of trees, under the dark blanket of night,
lit faintly only with pale moon and starlight, and the house glowed from within, its lights on even at such a late hour of the night.

The man with no name was one of the few indigenous people of the world of limbo, and was a very serious man who only had the capacity to care for
his business- yet under that faint glow from up above, unlocked a sort of sentimentality in him- yet, he still knew he had to break the news to his friend:
the news that his friend would be moving on from this world of limbo... as a decision had been made about his place in the afterlife. It was not the man's job
to know where this would be- his only job was to get the residents of limbo to fill out the paperwork before moving on to their final destination.

So, with a million emotions swirling in his heart, he began slowly to walk towards his friend's house, carefully considering how to break the news delicately
yet professionally as ever- he knew after the day was over, he would have to continue his work like everything was the same as ever the next day.

So, he began walking towards the house, walking through the green, walking up the stairs and walking up to the doorstep. And then came that fateful knock of
the door. "Hello. I'd like to speak to.."
  PART 2
"Hello, I'd like to speak to Mr #A9A9A9", the man from limbo said at the door after knocking, with a slight emotional waver in his voice. Which was unusual,
for he almost always had a flat tone when speaking.

Mr #A9A9A9 recognised his friend's voice and knew that in the world of limbo, there was only one reason that any temporary residents would get a visit to their
home. It was illegal to visit homes there for any non-business-related reasons. And the only business to be had was to be informed that you'd have to fill out
paperwork in order to move on from the world of limbo. The emotional waver in his friend's voice caused him to feel the full gravity of the situation immediately.

Mr #A9A9A9 opened the door and invited the man with no name inside. Both of their every gestures exuded ambivalence: relief, uncertainty, hope, worry- they knew 
a huge change was about to be set in motion.

"So," begun the man with no name "you know why I'm here I'm sure.." Mr #A9A9A9 nodded. "But as I've known you for a long time and we have bonds of a sort, I'll
offer you a choice. I'm only given 5 opportunities in my infinite lifetime to do this so I want you to consider what I have to say carefully." continued the man
with no name.

Mr #A9A9A9 knew no matter what choices were presented to him, he had made his mind up that he would leave limbo at the first opportunity. "Go on.." The man with
no name took his cue to continue speaking "You can either fill out the paperwork for moving on, without knowing if you're going to heaven or hell… or, you can
choose to stay here."

Mr #A9A9A9 had been wishing to leave limbo for a long time, even if it meant hell. For he was so sick of the neutrality and lack of intensity in the world he 
currently resided in. He would give anything to be free of emptiness- even if it meant to suffer endlessly. And yet, he suddenly found himself questioning that
belief. "What.. what would it mean though? To stay in limbo. I've been told in heaven, you get your true name revealed to you, in hell, the one wish you can be
granted- at the price of additional peril- is to have the memory of your Earth name restored. But if I stay in limbo, will I be like you? With no name and with
endless work?"

The man with no name was keen to answer any questions his friend had. "Depends on your role. You can be a messenger that travels realm to realm, experiencing 
your given name or true name or lack of name depending on where you are. You can be a grim reaper who can choose from a bank of secret names, working for 100,000
years before being granted access to heaven, only when on leave from work or when you eventually retire, which would be when the Earth realm collapses. Or you can
work as an admin or provider of paperwork here in the world of limbo, where your identity will remain as the shade of grey you have been allocated; if you choose 
this role, the only chance of having a name again would be if you ultimately decide you do want to fill out the paperwork to move on. But you'd still risk going 
to hell."

Mr #A9A9A9 had the look of deep thought on his face. After a few moments, he spoke. "I… I can't stay here any longer. Not even if it means missing out on the 
eventual payout of being guaranteed going to heaven if I sacrifice a bit more of my time by working here."

The man with no name was not expecting such a quick decision to be made "if you choose to move on, there is no reversing the decision.", he tried to hide his sadness
at the anticipation of returning back to loneliness.

Mr #A9A9A9 replied "I'm absolutely sure that I would like to move on. I need to know my name, and to feel something, anything."

The man with no name responded back. "I'll arrange your transport for next week and I'll have you fill out the forms I've brought you now… I suppose this is 
farewell, my friend."

"Goodbye."

The lyrics to a song that really resonates with my philosophy on life, and that you may find inspiring. It is called "Zero" by Pinocchio-P:

Studying various "how-to"s, I was too afraid to let my true self show

All of my attempts to fix the balance of the world went right out the window

Let's throw away this pointless pride! Come, the far reaches of the universe await us!

Which means

Even if you get better at hiding what you're really thinking

What connects us is not the surface-level stuff, but the lame and ugly parts of us

Whether they're smart, or not so much

Deep within my childish, immature heart, I want to keep on swimming in this weightless ocean

World Mythology!!

Starting with Slavic Mythology, since I have a book on it to hand (so my knowledge comes from an author who goes by 'pigeon', their site is called pigeonmakesart.co.uk)

  Perun is the deity controlling thunder- he has a lot of friction with Veles, the deity of the afterlife- with the two deities
  mentioned being the first two to exist in the universe. Perun sent Veles to the underground for trying to drown him, deciding
  to reside in the sky after this. Traditionally, Perun's weapon was a 'rock thunder' a.k.a. 'Perun's arrow'. Also, Perun is 
  associated with an old oak tree- a tree holding a lot of symbolic meaning. The slavic oak tree represents part of the axis mundi-
  a focal point for spiritual energy. Other symbolic trees in Slavic folklore include the birch tree and the willow tree.
  
  Veles, deity of the afterlife and rival of Perun, aside from holding power over the underworld, is also a patron of merchants;
  he is connected to wealth, magic and spells. The afterlife takes place in a giant meadow known as Navia, where the dead eternally
  wander and are left under his care. Sometimes he shape-shifts into a serpent known as Zmij, or a wild animal in doing so- he is 
  not considered evil. Also, the conflict between Perun and Veles ultimately results in the creation of land.
